A Mind Health Day Off

Those messed up days You feel caught in a maze Can’t point what’s wrong Mind’s covered in a haze . Withdraw yourself and let all go Put your feet up, & be a no-show Let the overwhelm stir down Self-care is what should flow . Sit by that window, look out the view And for today, just enjoy your brew It’s okay to take a mind health day off It might be a while, but this too shall pass… . . Some days are just not okay. Nothing is theoretically wrong, but nothing feels RIGHT. It is important to listen to the physical signs that our body gives us –uneasiness, increased pulse, irritability, lack of concentration. Let’s learn to recognize these signs and take a day off – from everything – to heal our mind. This is the least we can do for it.
